Americans need a bachelor's degree to make more than the median wage

In January 2015 US President Barack Obama proposed funding community college for every American "willing to work for it." While that would help reduce inequality, Americans need to complete a bachelor's degree to beat the median US weekly earnings of $827, and only 16% of community college graduates went on to earn four-year degrees.
